Game officials

Other than the foul line judge, whose job it is to ensure that players do not step onto the lane, and the official scorekeeper who checks the automated scoreboard for errors, each tournament and league will have its own officials. Game officials will be responsible for declaring fouls, illegal pinfalls and dead balls. They are also required to replace pins if any break; ensure that no unreasonable delays halt the game's progress; rule on acts of malfeasance libel and slander, with the power to impose bans; prevent members from bowling if they appear under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or are not dressed in an appropriate manner.
